We will explore simple and sustainable ways of growing food organically through hands-on practical sessions, giving you the confidence and skills to start your own kitchen garden.

Basics of soil ecology – Living Soil
Mulching
Making pot mixture
Making a self-watering planter
Grill Garden
Bottle drip irrigation

Home Kitchen Waste Management

• Waste Segregation
• Stink-free easy KW management in a cardboard box
• Other methods of composting

THINGS TO BRING ALONG: 

• An empty 2 lt plastic bottle to re-use 

• Carry a hat, sunglasses, a water bottle and wear comfortable clothes & shoes!

MIN CONTRIBUTION: 

Rs 500* per person (including breakfast)

* Any additional contribution will go towards running our volunteer-run community farms across the city
